Special Weather Conditions Arrangement

Arrangements for Macao Grand Prix Museum when Tropical Cyclone Warnings are in effect as follows:

  1. When Tropical Cyclone (Typhoon) strikes:
    • If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted before 9 a.m., museum will be closed to the public.
    • When tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be hoisted soon announced by Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau during opening hours, museum will stop selling tickets to the public immediately and disseminate relevant information in the venue, visitors are required to leave.
  2. After Tropical Cyclone (Typhoon):
    • If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 is lowered from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., museum will open to public 1.5 hours after the announcement.
    • If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 is lowered from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., museum will open to public at 2:30 p.m.
    • If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 is lowered from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., museum will open to public 1.5 hours after the announcement.
    • If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 is lowered after 2:30 p.m., museum will remain closed in the afternoon.

Remarks:

Reasons of force majeure (including unpredictable internal technical failures or unforeseen natural or man-made disasters) that cause Macao Grand Prix Museum closed, ticket admission refund and reschedule is acceptable. For enquiries, please call (853) 8593 0003 / (853) 8593 0004.
